L’Hedychium ‘Dixter’<\/strong>, \u00e9galement connu sous les noms de Hedychium ‘Tresco’<\/strong> ou ‘Devon Cream’<\/strong>, est une superbe plante vivace rhizomateuse appartenant \u00e0 la famille des Zingib\u00e9rac\u00e9es (la famille du gingembre). Ce gingembre d’ornement est particuli\u00e8rement appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 pour son allure exotique et sa tr\u00e8s bonne rusticit\u00e9<\/strong>, ce qui en fait un choix id\u00e9al pour apporter une touche tropicale aux jardins temp\u00e9r\u00e9s. <\/div>\n

    • Feuillage :<\/strong> Ses tiges portent de grandes feuilles lanc\u00e9ol\u00e9es d’un vert luxuriant et brillant. Ce feuillage dense reste caduc dans la plupart des r\u00e9gions (il s\u00e8che en hiver) mais peut s’av\u00e9rer persistant dans les zones totalement hors gel.<\/span>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Fleurs :<\/strong> Il produit de grands \u00e9pis floraux terminaux compos\u00e9s de fleurs arachn\u00e9ennes de couleur blanc cr\u00e8me \u00e0 jaune tr\u00e8s p\u00e2le<\/strong>. Selon les retours de culture, son parfum est parfois d\u00e9crit comme d\u00e9licat, bien que certaines p\u00e9pini\u00e8res le classent comme peu odorant par rapport \u00e0 d’autres vari\u00e9t\u00e9s.<\/span>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                • Exposition :<\/strong> Il appr\u00e9cie le plein soleil ou la mi-ombre<\/strong>. Dans les r\u00e9gions du sud de la France, la mi-ombre est recommand\u00e9e pour \u00e9viter que le feuillage ne br\u00fble.<\/span>\u00a0<\/li>\n
                • Sol :<\/strong> Il a besoin d’un sol riche en humus, fertile, frais mais surtout tr\u00e8s bien drain\u00e9<\/strong> pour \u00e9viter le pourrissement du rhizome en hiver.<\/span>\u00a0<\/li>\n
                • Arrosage :<\/strong> Les besoins en eau sont importants durant sa p\u00e9riode de croissance et de floraison (printemps\/\u00e9t\u00e9), mais le sol doit rester plus sec lorsque la plante entre en repos en hiver.<\/span>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
