Il est reconnu pour avoir port\u00e9 la couleur, la forme et la performance de cette vari\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 un niveau sup\u00e9rieur.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Bien que sa m\u00e9thode de culture n&rsquo;ait pas \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9e, le Dr Kirk excellait dans la production de ce n\u00e9nuphar rustique, aux fleurs aux couleurs complexes, oscillant entre l&rsquo;orange, l&rsquo;abricot et le saumon. Au printemps, sa couleur est rose p\u00e2le, et en \u00e9t\u00e9, lorsque la temp\u00e9rature de l&rsquo;eau et de l&rsquo;air augmente, elle prend une teinte chair, m\u00e9lange de p\u00eache et de cr\u00e8me, ou un orange clair \u00e0 mi-chemin entre l&rsquo;orange et le rose. La fleur, en forme d&rsquo;\u00e9toile tr\u00e8s prononc\u00e9e, s&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e8ve haut au-dessus de la surface de l&rsquo;eau, lui conf\u00e9rant un aspect unique et \u00e9voquant l&rsquo;\u00e9clat d&rsquo;une \u00e9toile, comme le sugg\u00e8re son nom. Cependant, comme il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un syst\u00e8me de coloration complexe, la couleur varie selon l&rsquo;environnement, mais les feuilles flottantes sont vert fonc\u00e9 avec des motifs tachet\u00e9s. C\u00f4t\u00e9 culture, c&rsquo;est une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de taille moyenne qui fleurit abondamment.
