Ses feuilles ruban\u00e9es lui valent son nom vernaculaire et son port \u00e9rig\u00e9, son nom d&rsquo;esp\u00e8ce (erectum = \u00e9rig\u00e9).<\/p>\n<p>Son inflorescence ramifi\u00e9e se pr\u00e9sente sous forme de glom\u00e9rules donnant naissance \u00e0 des\u00a0<strong>fruits ronds h\u00e9riss\u00e9s<\/strong>, \u00e9galement d\u00e9coratifs.<\/p>\n<p>Cette plante d\u00e9polluante est \u00e9galement utile pour fixer des berges gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses rhizomes tra\u00e7ants.<\/p>\n<p>Il pousse en milieu mar\u00e9cageux ou<strong>\u00a0immerg\u00e9 jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 -10 cm d&rsquo;eau\u00a0<\/strong>sur les rives.
